Grandpa's Here!

Sophia has LOVED having Big Papa Archie here. They've totally bonded. Can't you tell?

They play and Sophie chatters to him like he's her best friend.

Happy Autumn! This is my favorite time of year.

I love my little Sophie so much. She's getting to be such a big girl. I really hate that she's growing up so quickly. I just want to bottle her up at every stage so that I can remember her this way forever. I suppose that's what the camera is for. But the camera can't capture the way she smells or all her cute mannerisms. It can't capture all her likes and dislikes. Ugghhhh!

At this stage of her life:

She sits up like a pro.

She scoots around everywhere all day long.

Her main method of moving is the army crawl.
Her forearms and her knees are chapped no matter what I do.

She's persistent and determined.

She's happy, happy, happy.

She's very social.

She chatters incessantly. I love her little squeals and chirps!
She's still obsessed/addicted to her Wubbanub.

She's learning how to sleep through the night.

She's experimenting with different types of baby food. (Most foods are rejected)

She loves smacking toys with her hand over and over again to hear the sound.

She sleeps without a swaddle most of the time.

She loves applesauce.

Her hair is stick straight and it sticks up all the time.

Her bald spot on the back of her head is finally growing in.

She hates "feeling confined." She is an independent woman!

She's an absolute joy.
